I get that,but we are talking about getting entry into the modern Inter-Cities Fairs Cup. Top Four and CL is what we should be aiming for.

The european side of it isn't that important though. It's about winning a trophy. We need to win something, and winning this for the first time is long overdue.

that is pure overkill for a team like Salford, If it was a Championship team I might agree, They're in league two, People like Kean and Gordon/Nkounkou Gylfi and others are capable enough, We've already seen the likes of Preston kick the shins out of you so no point wasting using James/Richy/Doucs/Allan unless necessary.

For some reason I was convinced this was an away game until yesterday. I still hope we play with a strong side, for consistency and to build up an understanding between the players.

A clean sheet and a few goals would be most welcome. Really hope that Kean has a good game and nets.

You're probably right, I would still like Allan and Doucoure in there as that's how little I trust Davies and Sigurdsson now, but yeah they have just came up to the Football League for the first time so I'm sure a B team would do the job.
