I gave it to Gueye because he was bloody amazing but keane played very well in my opinion as well. I'm pretty sure Kean didn't lose a single aerial dual and was constantly looking for forward passes.

Apologies for the late posting of the report, a five car pile up on the East Lancs and the M62 being closed were a major delay.

Just got back now, the M62 being closed was a nightmare. That and having to go round Birmingham to pick up the M5 and the miles of roadworks on the M6 have not made my night.

Anyhow enough of the travel report, now for the sport. It was rubbish. For me Michael Keane was our standout performer.

With the exception of Gana and Keane they all looked rusty and / or were trying too hard to make an impression. However, i saw some glimpses of some really nice pass and move football, and once they get to know each others thinking better i reckon we will be well entertained this season. Very impressed with the impact Sandro made, and i think he may well be the best buy of the lot! So i voted for Sandro because once he came on it started to look like we might make space to nick a goal.
