Barkley in a deep role is interesting, looking forward to seeing that. Could be genius, could be awful.

yeah. it's surely where his long term future lies, i would hope so anyway. he doesn't get enough assists or provide enough intelligent through balls for him to be a success as an ACM for me. think of how many goals we can score if he's getting double figures from central midfield with an attacking mid like siggurdson and a striker with the record of lukaku's.

Gives us the option to do both really depending on how much is coming the other way. Will probably move the ball a bit quicker from defence to attack as well. I worry about Ross attacking from the wrong positions though.
