The thing that hurts the most about it is when you see Jelavic and how he plays, just like he isn't even arsed. Some heads need smashing there with some tactical nous.

Don't agree at all, he's quite passionate when he's on the pitch and he's clearly frustrated with himself.

I do agree Jelavic isn't playing well but let's be honest he isn't getting any decent through balls off anybody at the minute.

did you see anybody feed jelavic today ? because i didnt . needs service desperately . had nothing today. but he seems a yard of pace short and his touch is sloppy

It's too easy to get at us. When we have the ball, once teams sharpen up, get tight and really press, grab, shove and generally make a nuisance of themselves, our game goes to sh*t and we just lump it into the corners. When the opposition have the ball, bypass the midfield, our centre halves aren't winning anything in the air at the moment and then the opposition midfield get around us and compete for the second ball. Every time I've seen Duffy play he has been a beast in the air and I think he should be given a chance.

I have to massively agree here, We don't have the movement to make the space for a pass and also lack the composure to find a short pass when we're closed down quickly. Instead it gets hoofed upto Jelavic who I think has never won a header in his whole career, It leads to the opposition retaining the ball quicker an gives them more confidence as the game goes on.

If were all being honest with the blue shades taken off then we still have some very average players in and around the first team who just can't make that step up to taking us to the champions league plus a manager who doesn't get the nickname of dithering for no reason.

I just do not understand why he didn't make subs when players like Naismith and Hitzlsperger aren't fit enough to play 90 mins.

absolutely woeful today,
why can't the team defend set pieces any more? even with 3 cb's on the pitch we still cant defend a free kick from 40 yards out....
the referree was awful but was equally bad for both sides,
the only bright side of the match was a solid performance from oviedo, shades of when coleman first broke into the team.
pienaar looks like he's forgotten how to play since he cut his hair, was anonymous today.
hitzlesperger looks like he could offer something but looked a yard off the pace.
jelavic isnt himself, possibly because he's being asked to play like strac.... jela is not a headless chicken workhorse, we should be playing to his strengths not hoofing it up expecting him to win every header.
naismith.....were do i start.... looked bright in parts, took his goal well but overall was ineffective, was never winning headers against bassong and his pass for jela at the end was woeful.
the right hand side just wasn't anywhere near as effective as it has been the past few weeks, jags is our best centre half and for all his efforts he's not a right back and as above, naismith is no winger.
moyes decisions today were shocking too, why leave vellios warming up for 10 minutes when he could see naismith and jela were knackered only to decide after we concede that 4 minutes is enough to somehow change the game, strange one that
god knows what howard was doing for their goal too

we missed our belgians badly, without felli up top too many long balls were coming back at us and we badly missed kev's directness and ability to terrify a fullback,
the middle just isn't the same without gibbo either,
the sooner we get those three fit and firing the better

Because he's A : slow, and B : too scared to play someone if they're not over 28 years old.

I'm his biggest fan but too many needless flicks today, been awful for the past few games too, needs to be dropped for a game.

When Cahill was here we didn't seem to concede from FKs and CKs. I don't know why our defensive players are scared to "attack" the crosses nowadays.

That's the thing though, we absolutely do have the squad to challenge this year. We dominate games for 85 minutes and then **** ourselves. If we had those last five minutes in us we'd be up in 3rd, 2nd even.

QPR and today...we really didn't dominate for that type of period mate.

We are well short as an organisation. .

Barkley should have come on for Pienaar in the second half. Pienaar had been awful today. Can't pass and lost the ball all the time.
