mirallas is all over the show ... best performance from him in a long time

Tom davies tho .. 17 if we get de boer with his track record of youth am pretty sure he will be in the first team a lot next year

He's rubbish. Doesn't pass the ball backwards and he'll send us tumbling down the possession table.

I guess they've not been trying for two full seasons, and those last Wigan players getting themselves relegated......

There's a tactical shift, if the players aren't consistently pressing across multiple seasons and two different teams, it's a managerial issue, hardly lazy players at fault

You're right, it is 100% on the manager, nothing to do with the players that are actually out on the pitch. :dodgy:

Its the same as at chelsea, the players give up under mourinho and they got called all kinds. But it happens with us its all on the manager. Some of our lads have been pathetic, no matter the manager the least we should expect is some effort

It's not the same mate. Had there not been previous form on this, and had the manager come out and said the team weren't doing what he sent them out to do, I'd be more inclined to agree. The reality is Martinez teams don't work hard off the ball, they aren't defensively organised, and he plays out of form players.

This is just like Moyes' first game against Fulham all those years back, not that I want that Ginger ballbag anywhere near the place again, just saying it feels like that day.

Absolutely. They clearly wanted a summer holiday.... lol

Absolutely baffles me that people think El Fraudo's tactics weren't the problem and try and pin it on the players

No, you're saying everything is black and white - that Martinez was to blame for absolutely everything, when in reality, his management made it difficult for the players who ultimately gave up. No one is saying Martinez wasn't the problem, but to suggest the players were giving it everything since Christmas is just wrong.
