Haven’t seen much of Newcastle this season, but they have been a dogged team under Rafael and look to drag teams down to their level. Don’t expect them to cause much threat but do expect they will battle for a point.

We need the lads to create chances tonight AND actually take them.

I remember when we played these at home last season there was plenty of banter going on between the Geordies and Pickford during the game.

Given he's ex-Sunderland I've no doubt a few chants await him tonight from their fans reminding him of his blunder on Sunday plus huge cheers from them whenever he catches the ball.
Jordan seems like the kind if lad that thrives on that stuff, he'll be fine.

Could have done with a back massage as well :(
The nice bloke who cuts my hair, at the conclusion of said, always gives me a 5 minute back, neck and shoulder massage . He’s Chinese and a very skilled masseuse...it feels very good!
By the by, I once went to get a foot massage (reflexology I think it’s called). Normally I like my feet being touched, but this was not an enjoyable experience...hurt like hell and made me feel nauseous throughout. The young lady who performed the torture told me the pain was due to all the toxins accumulated in my feet that were being leeched out . Anyway, that experience taught me the motto: ‘let sleeping toxins lie”.
Tonight? I think as per, we will make a tough go of it, miss plenty of opportunities and cause a wee bit of anxiety. But we will prevail in the end .

After the RS these are my most disliked club can't stand anything about them. Hoping we pummel them tonight!

I expect Benitez to play ultra defensive, or "small club" style in his own words. Hopefully we get an early goal and they have to come at us. Could do with a high scoring win with multiple scorers - but any win will do.

Time to get back on track.

Walcott and Gueye deffo looked injured so wouldn't be surprised with those 2 changes.

Question is will he change it up top.

I would like Bernard to start but if he does bring in Tosun or DCL then it will be Rico on the left I'd imagine
