Negative for us if Richy is out.

We don't miss Sigurdsson in his current state
Don’t get me wrong Sigurdsson doesn’t deserve to be in our team on his showings but honestly Delph, Davies or Morgan just can’t create and don’t work together.

Sigurdsson can at least pass a ball that is obvious. Are you saying not having Richy is negative or you saying I’m being negative?
Everton’s Gylfi Sigurdsson has just one goal and one assist so far in the Premier League this term, averaging a goal involvement every 788 minutes. Last term, he was averaging a goal or assist every 165 minutes for the Toffees. - maybe may not miss him as much as some think

Valid points yes he is no where near what he was last season. However if I play a through ball that’s splits the defence to you then you simply side foot the ball to someone to tap it in you get the assist. Yet it was me that played the killer ball. Now chances created is a better stat to look at now don’t know where Sigurdsson stands on that front to be fair.

I got some stick for saying I'm beginning to get frustrated with Brands last week.

This is exactly why. He's had months to prepare, there's no reason to go to deadline day given out vulnerability is obvious.

Europe was still attainable, but that boat has salled due to inaction yet again.

Put a goal scoring striker / RW and a battling CM who can pick a pass in our team yesterday and we would have won imo and be 3 points off 5th.

We are our own worst enemy every season. Wait to the end of every window to buy players in which we lose precious points getting them adjusted to the team.

What made it worse this summer was Brands and Silva saying targets had been identified at the end of last season - then come deadline day eve we are making panic buys in Iwobi & scrambling for a CB contemplating that divvy Rojo.

Can he? I would’ve thought he’d have demonstrated such an ability in his 3 years at the club.
Yeah he can. Also Can he pass better than Delph and Davies yeah he can. That was the point being made. Against teams that sit back they love it when they see are midfield at present.

Didn't we just play these recently? How come its come around so quickly

From memory they always do this.

This set of fixtures is a carbon copy of the set of fixtures that were played 27-29 December, but of course in reverse.

For this game in particular, more than killer passes, is his handy long shot. There'll be no space for the killer balls to go in behind, but if he's 20-30 yards out with space then there's always a chance he can pop it in the top corner.
