I thought it was the most controlled performance of the season tbh, if you ignore the final minute of course. The players have really let themselves down. There is no chance in hell they should have even had a sniff.

We find it so difficult to win games, even when we play well. The sad thing is we never look like getting 3 points when we play badly.

That's a big reminder to us all that we may have turned the corner but we ain't out of the woods with this squad. Too many snowflakes and shithouses in it. They remain a bunch of bottlers, were we to reach a final again we wouldnt win it as they're too fragile mentally. We played well for the vast majority of the game so are making some progress. Still hurts tho, even though this is standard practice for everton and we should all be used to it, it's still a shock.

Team went to sleep the last 15 minutes of the game. Unbelievable but fair play to Newcastle for playing until the final whistle.
