I'm one of the first on here criticising Martinez, so it's only right I come on here and give him some credit. Big calls on his team selection- no del, stones, Howard (not before time) and baines but totally vindicated by the teams performance. If only he had showed the willingness to shake things up weeks ago. But let's hope this is a start to a really strong end to the season.

Still should have made a sub to change the rhythm during that down spell.. even just to soak up time.

that's our allotment for the next 5 years used up

similar line of thinking. as it happened i texted my brother, a hammers fan who had me ranting up and down at him last week after the last couple matches about bs calls against us and no pks on the year. "our allotment for the 2016 calendar year has been spent."

Lennon had a cracker. Good performances all round. That includes Kone who held the ball up well, got in to dangerous positions and set others up. Good but not spectacular of course.

Thought Coleman and Mori were under par.

Good performance against a poor side.

Barkley, Lennon, Barry, Oviedo, McCarthy all outstanding. Cleverley, Kone, Funes Mori and the linesman not so much.
