Great game by Barry and McCarthy. Dominating the middle of the park.

Was also good to see Cleverley putting himself about

Simply a feeling of relief to actually win a game. There's knowing we should win a game but then there's doing it.

Lennon was excellent, McCarthy was quietly superb, excellent shift from Oviedo and Cleverley and apart from a strange 15 minutes from Ross where everything he touched turned to crap he was fantastic.

Lennon motm for me though, goal, won a pen, could have had a hat trick and he chased down anything that looked like a human zebra. Brilliant performance from him.

Still look petrified when the other team attacks.

it's his fault the f'in clown

Midfield was awesome tonight. Maybe we can quieten down the screams for 2 wingers every week. Work rate plus good attacking intent = wins.

Two goals is never enough to kill off a game for us. We need at least 4 to be safe...even against Newcastle.

Well we managed to get 3 in the end, the second one really killed them off, Ross gained more confidence after he scored the first penalty. Kone was unlucky not to score, worked hard though.

We looked more solid at the back, Joel made some good saves! :-)

I wasn't confident of the win though, until we were 3-0 up and it was the 94th minute!

It looks like we signed a striker at the right time, with Lukaku going off at half time after collocini kneed him in the back

Good 3 points, Newcaslte are utter garbage and deserve to go down for spending £24m on Townsend and Shelvey, wow.

We're only one point off Stoke, who the media would have you think are having a blinder, let's go and beat them on Saturday and win two in a row in the league since god knows how long ago.
