Sadly I can't see much improvement in the attitude. It's December now. A change in mentality would have happened by now surely.

Being destroyed by Chelsea left them completely unfazed. I thought that would have finally brought something out of these players, but no.

...I'm trying to look for positives but being pragmatic it's hard to see where a win might come from. Saying that, it could be the type of game we need, United are no super team and we are unbeaten at home in the league. Fingers crossed.

Said it before but my worry is that we do go and get a result today and just when we think we are turning it around we don't turn up next week and go back to the same pattern.

Who'd have thought we would have beaten Chelsea in Martinez's first season? A result that sparked a real change in fortunes at the time.

I'm not optimistic either for today as I feel there's a deeper issue within the squad, however the rot needs to stop so why not today.

My worry is that if we do not start in an amazing fashion then the crowd, which has become pretty fickle and partisan, will soon be on their backs.

...we need to get over and beyond that 20 point mark asap, I can see plenty of churn in January with quite a few coming in.
We need to put 2 wins together more than anything else. Get a bit of belief back in the team, right now we don't look confident of getting results, hence why it was game over last week after a minute. The team does need a shake up if nothing else to stop them thinking they have a guaranteed place. But yeah, if we won the next two then perhaps things could change in our favour, speaks volumes though when one of our only wins this season in West Brom is currently having a better season than we are!

We need the players on the field to shoe professional pride. I believe we can win this one if the players Koeman selects try to execute a game plan and not just fulfil the fixture.
Hopefully they start playing for their places today.

Manchester United have 7 matches in December, and six or seven more in January.

They are going to have to rotate - but they do have a big squad.

I'll go for
de Gea
A Valencia Jones Rojo Darmian
Mata Mkhitaryan Pogba Lingard
Rashford Ibrahimovic

We'll need a greatly improved team performance to get anything from this game.

We were beaten 5 nil last time he put out that formation

Against arguably the main title leaders. And won't be the last that happens to.

Just think he won't drop Jags, we're st home, and we're not a huge attacking threat in that main formation. They also just play with one up top so...

If not, we play like an away side and play on the counter.

It's crazy with all the doom and gloom and our form that we could go 6th with a win, which we would all have probably taken before the season started.

I can't see a win tbh but they aren't that great either, so who knows.
