We're still 2-3 windows from where we wanna be. That's just the reality of things. Building a team takes time. We need patience.

Be patient people. We were not exactly world beaters before this season. It takes time. Build block by block. I'm sure we are going in the ll right direction under Don Carlo. Let him rebuild. We may not be champions soon, but getting Allan, James are positive steps. I believe we will be better in coming weeks and years. There will be struggles on the way and I completely expect bad days. Dethroning the financial power houses that our opponents are, is not happening in a season. But with new stadium and players, I'm confident we will reach there. Believe and support our men

Yes I went with Bernard, he done ok good goal & played well first half...

But we were poor going forward & so vulnerable in defence...

No support going forward & crosses were woeful...

Richarlison missed badly but we need reinforcements in Jan & Olsen should be in goal now to give us stability...

Long term project. Trying to focus on the bigger picture here...

Did we really expect all our problems to magically disappear in one transfer window?

We will build a team and build the depth of the squad over years and it’s going to take time and patience blues.

Doesn’t sound like he wants to be building for the long term there

This squad will finish no higher than 9th. This is not news. We've had a very positive start, improved on last season's squad, and will need to do so again in January and the summer. I'm disappointed with the last four games. We have regressed to the mean and are finding our level. Our first XI is decent - but we had most of them today and flopped. However, this is not unexpected. We were 12th last season. We're not jumping from there to 4th thanks to three new signings. Of the new signings, only James has sparkled with any consistency before injury blunted his effectiveness. It's been no more than a moderate start for the others. That's ok - new players need time to settle in. Digne and Richarlison have disappointed me with their lack of intelligence. DCL has progressed exponentially, but needs service. Pickford needs to mature quickly. As we already knew, most of the rest of the squad is simply not up to it. Siggy, Gomes, Iwobi, Cenk, Delph et al are busted flushes. So plenty to work on. I'm optimistic we will improve under this manager once he is supported financially. The cup quarter final with United will be an excellent opportunity to put today right and take the next significant step in our development.
