Great first half, United looks like a mid-table Championship side at best.

Like I said, hardly a surprise as we're doing well against those teams. Up to Silva to work on the system to play like that against opposition who are happy to sit deep.

A few years ago, Liverpool always played well against bigger teams and dropped points against the lesser lights. It’s a stretch to suggest we’re on their trajectory at this stage but the optimist in me hopes this is the start of us having an identity as a team for once. Next season we need to work on a flexible approach to help us break down those teams, then the season after we win the league. Simps.
