I've been feeling confident about this match after our run of results, and watching Man Utd struggle. I'm not that confident
now after 0 shots on target v Chelsea, 1 v WBA and 3? v Bournemouth. You can't win if you don't score.

They've been horrible, lately, and we still might get a result but I'd be surprised.
In essence then, what you're saying is that this match is going to be horribly competitive .

I agree

Zlatan, Lukaku, Young all out?
Young will be serving the first of his first three match ban and Zlatan is another absentee, while Lukaku is a serious doubt but you never know.

He's a big softy so I doubt he'll recover quickly, but then again, maybe wanting to play against us will stroke his ego enough for him to recover.

No Valencia either and Smalling is another major doubt, so with a much-weakened attack and not their first choice defence we've got a chance.

COYBZ!!!!

Manchester United are stricken by injury and suspension and could be reduced to;

De Gea
Darmian Jones Roho Shaw
Matic Pogba
Mata Lingard Martial
Rashford

Most of our team will be so tired, it will be an effort to run out of the tunnel.

Everton 1 shot on target, Manchester United 5 shots on target.

A victory for defensive football,

Niasse should start today imo. Showed enough when he came on in the last match that he is a threat and will cause problems to defences, create assists and chances and always has the ability to score. Want to see us have a go today rather than negatively sit back and play for a draw with the hope of stealing something. Not only is it painful watching us park the bus but the pain is amplified when we do it and get beat. Need to not be complacent and be tight at the back of course but also have a go at home against a weakened Man U side. A win today against one of the so called top 6 teams would be a massive confidence boost and a great kick start to 2018.

Still not looking forward to it and expecting very little possession and the buses to be parked and hand braked for the night but we shall see.

COYB's !!! Give us something to cheer about please.

I'm being more positive for this game. Big Sam said he wants the players to be a bit more adventurous, but how can he expect that from the players when he's not being adventurous himself with team selection and playing style. This lot are beatable if we approach the game in the right way.

Vlasic and Lookman won't even make the bench unfortunately.
