We’ll agree to disagree. We’ve only deserved to lose one of the last three and that was tonight against the world champions.
No big deal.
Aye, still miss it thoughThat was a very different City.
who scored Everton's 1 goal Joey, wake up. i know its late where you are lolHe slotted it well so your statement is rubbish.
But we didn't take any points and thsts the ole expected loss mantra, judge a team by its nameSpurs away and then the best team in the world Man City!!??!!
Perspective please. Should have taken at least a point at WHL and competed strongly tonight and at 80 mins a smash and grab was a potential.
We are showing the very same fight as we did with the 4 wins, just lack of quality.
The rest of them still have Spurs and City remember.
Can't be having people crying that we lost to City, jesus wept.
Did they though? honestly?Wasn’t really brushed, they had to work for it
A loss is a loss though points wise. There are also different types of losses. We've been beaten by the best team in the world after being right in the game right until the last 5 mins, and mostly dominated a top 4 contender away from home and were absurdly unlucky not to get something.
If we get 1 point from our next 3 I can accept there may be something deeper. But no reasonable person can seriously tell me after the last couple of games they're suddenly panicking.
That’s a growing concern.. Beto had a chance tonight and to be fair did ok. But he’s a different less athletic type of player. Could we try Dobbin instead of DCL?Never any shame in that, especially when the lesser team puts in a real shift. Everton did.
Most worrying thing for me is Calvert-Lewin being completely incapable of finishing his chances.
A loss is a loss though points wise.
