Thought it was an Ok performance against a weak looking City, all 3 of their goals were preventable, considering yet again we had a non existant midfield, poor substition taking Iwobi off while Gylfi had the presence of a ghost,Coleman MOTM for me

Same here mate, a piss poor City at the back, sloppy in front of goal, and Aguero and the 2 Silva's on the bench gave us a chance today.

I went for Seamus as MoM, Delph, Richie and Schneids played well. Digne average, Kean looked good for the short time he was on. DCL is the best striker in the team at the moment, if someone could be there to collect the headers he wins we might get somewhere.

The dizzy heights of 15th with a -6 goal difference and currently 14 points off the leaders after only 7 games.

Don't worry though lads at least the billion pound squad got a helping hand

Considering who we were playing that was a fine showing. It's extremely hard to beat that team and we could have with a break here or there. That's good.

What that didn't tell us is if we have figured out and addressed the issues that are causing us to lose to the likes of Villa and Sheffield United. Burnley next week might reveal more on that front and that is ultimately the bigger issue.

First 15-20 feared the worst, then they started to roll the sleeves up. They are a class team no doubt , what really was telling to me was the lack of composure we had, a lot of instances of huff and puff, hit and hope like a Burnley get smeared for and the best chances came from corners and we looked second rate overall. The only positive I can take is from those who’s heads didn’t drop particularly when the second went in.

Pickford laughing says a lot where’s his heads at, haven’t been fussy on him since after the World Cup, his ego and arrogance have grown considerably.

....feared it might be worst, City are going to open-up the best defences and ours is far from that but we hung in there and created a number of situations and chances.

Coleman MoM for me. I thought Richarlison put in a real shift, actually looked more effective on the right. Schneiderlin did ok, I saw one terrific block just before he got brought off.

I don’t trust Pickford, never have but I accept i’m an old fella and goalies these days seem to get more praise for picking somebody out on the half-way line. Unless he was injured, Iwobi shouldn’t have been subbed, that was humiliating.

DCL is our most effective striker. I’m sorry, but Kean disappoints me more every time I see him. I so much want him to be good, we so need him to be good. I can honestly see Anthony Gordon being involved before Christmas.

I thought Kean did nothing wrong when he came on, and he has the confidence to beat a few defenders. Won a couple of corners as well. DCL is very close to adding goals to his game...he almost had a hat trick today. I agree about Schneiderlin, he put a real shift in, and credit to Silva for at least getting a tune out of him. Coleman MOTM easily...he knows what Everton means to so many people, and it showed. If you can buy attitude implants for the rest, Mosh should open his cheque book. But anyway, I think we are improving slowly. Another couple of transfer windows.....

Decent performance today, but my fear is we won't see anything like that level of desire and commitment next time out against Burnley. Coleman MOTM for me, I wanted him dropped but he was fantastic today. Hopefully, he can keep this form going. When he plays well the rest of the team seems to up their game as well.
