But as @Kurt rightly says, that goal doesn't happen if Zouma does his job, or Gomes decides to put pressure on the player rather than head at thin air.

Free kicks will be the death of Little Marco. That's 15+ conceded in all matches this season, maybe two scored.

If you can't fix that, than you are a horrible coach. Bottom line.

No we still haven't done much and still conceded a set piece. Because the opposition is Man City and the scoreline is low then we believe it's a decent performance when in reality it is not. It is the same.

Like many on here, I wasn't expecting too much from tonight but to concede from another set piece is just embarrassing. Never mind football, in your everyday life you wouldn't stick with doing something that harms or embarrasses you over and over again; you'd do something differently!
Why on earth can Marco not see what 37000+ Everton fans are seeing week in, week out?
