They do look shakey at the back at times. Going forward I think the formula to beat them is pressing their defenders.

Although Rio did point out that their 2nd goal came from us attempting that with our defenders too deep. If they'd have been on the half way line City probably don't score that goal.

..yep, which is exactly what the Reds do in pressing high up the pitch.

Close to just giving up totally this season and try and forget when we've got a match.....just like most of the players have!! Roll on next season with a new manager, dof and hopefully some new players that can actually pass the ball and want to wear the shirt!

They've got a great chance if they can start positively and not concede early like we did. City are great at controlling a game and a goal cushion allows them to do it comfortably.

...funny enough, I think the Reds will be a danger at Etihad. Saying that, I think City are better and I have it in my mind that the selling of Coutinho might just be the difference. Regardless, it’s a fascinating tie and I desperately want the Reds to lose.

Two teams who can be dodgy at the back but have a strong attack does make for an interesting tie. It will be a great one for the neutrals, but like say, we aren't neutral :p

Will probably get slated for this, but I gave my vote to DCL.
In a first half where City where so, so, so, much better in every department, he was the one player in a blue shirt, in my opinion, who tried to get at them.
He put a superb cross in from the right for Bolasie to totally nause up and another decent effort in from the left that nobody at all followed up on.
Thought he worked tirelessly against nigh on impossible odds in that first half, him and Cenk Tosun must have wondered at times if they'd every get a pass from a team mate.

Second half TD and BB were the two who at least tried to make things happen, but I'm happy to give my vote to DCL.

No need for anyone to slate you about DCL as it is your opinion. Just that he is not remotely good enough if we have any ambition for the future. A lot pf players need to be moved on before next season and his departure would not leave a hole.

RIDICULOUS HOME PERFORMACE, GIVING UP WAY TOO MUCH RESPECT. UNFORGIVABLE.

WAS FIGHTING IN THE TOP BALCONY, JUST LIKE WEST HAM.

THIS ISNT EVERTON
