It’s grim, but for all the blaming of Dyche, we’ve had 22 shots and the shape has created 4 big clear chances and scored 1. Players for me this one. Personal responsibility and pride of performance. Focus, aggression. All missing. I don’t blame the manager for that. If they have played thousands of matches and still need telling to “try your best” before kick off then I’ve lost the will to live.

Two things can be true at once mate.

Players should absolutely do better, but reverting to that shape/selection after Garner running the show against a FAR better midfield than this in midweek was absolutely criminal. He’s out of his depth. We hired him in the HOPE he’d steady the ship, make us hard to beat, etc, and he’s done nothing of the sort.

Brentford and Villa looking like a fluke already.
