Oh but when Darron Gibson does it and knocks over a cyclist driving home drunk on a Tuesday morning it's not ok? God, the double standards in this place.
Stupid comment. Different times.....different era.......different thinking.
Just two more comments from me.........Remind me when did Dixie Dean ever knock anyone over , apart from the odd defender.
And when did Darrin Gibson ever score 60 goals in a aeason? Think even Gibson might have been forgiven if he had even managed a few goals.......punished.....yes........but forgiven.
Double standards I hear you say. Naw......just good old fashioned common sense. Different people.......different era.
Dixie Dean......legend. Darrin Gibson........idiot.(and not that good for Everton).

John Lennon's 80th, and who do the BBC local news go to?

JURGEN F@*+%43 KLOPP!!!!!!!!

Jurgen Klopp has paid a wonderful tribute to John Lennon on what would have been The Beatles star's 80th birthday.

The Liverpool manager was filmed from his Melwood office signing incredibly famous and popular songs co-written by Lennon and performed by both the group and the man himself.

The German boss begins by singing the chorus to All You Need Is Love before humming the famous "duh, duh, duh, da, duh" tune.

He then moves on to the chorus of Imagine before finishing off with the main verse in Yellow Submarine.

After Klopp finishes with his short renditions of the three songs, he delivers a message of thanks to Lennon.

In the clip, posted to Visit Liverpool's Twitter page, he said: "... and so on, and so on.

"That's what I'm thinking of and that's what it means to me.

"Some of the best songs, ever.

"If you were still here, we would have even more of those. Thank you very much."

Don’t do it to yourself mate. I’m putting every ounce of my life into expecting the worst.

Origi’s shoulder

We have to beat them at some point.

In the 90's they had the mental block and we consistently turned them over with some awful side too (Kendall in 97/98 season a case in point)

We just need that one player who turns the tide.

I can see a Jurgen sings CD being offered for sale on Llandudno Pier soon.
Think I would throw myself off it if I had to listen to his renditions. Or just hear is voice in general tbh.

Interesting to see how we set up. I can see it being similar to the post lockdown derby in terms of us letting them have the ball and limiting the space behind our back line. We have a lot more quality going forward now so hopefully we’ll be ruthless on the day and take our chances. Carlo did well against these during his time at Napoli, we should now have a strong enough team to execute his game plan.
