Here's a question then, how many straight league games would we have to win for you to think we are title challengers?

the true test of the strength of this squad will be the 19th Dec - 6th Feb - there are 39 points available in this 6 weeks and it will go along way to defining any clubs season. Worryingly, if you look at the results over the december through Jan chunks of the season, Liverpool and City have traditionally picked up a huge amount of points & I think the cadence of two games a week is easier for them because of squad depth & simply practice with European football.

If you look at Leicester in 2015 and last year to an extent, this was where they consolidated their position in the table, if we navigated through that period, we will have a right chance.

2 reasons why guys like Pep, Klopp, and even Mourinho fall off

1. They are strictly one dimensional. They are too rigid to their philosophy and place the philosophy above anything else. They end up getting figured out by the opposition and anyone can beat you when you are only good at 1 thing and they figure out that 1 thing.

2. After years of doing the same thing, but this time not yielding results, your own players stop buying into your message. You can keep standing there and preaching, but it won't be the same. The doubt will set in not only in themselves, but if what you are preaching actually works. They get fatigued and lose faith on the manager and his message.

They might very well still win the league, but juggernauts they are not. We should come into this game and try to punch them in the mouth

You missed the legend of the Liverpool fan called ‘Fanta Scruff’.

You would have enjoyed it especially. Look it up.

Just had a quick look on rawk and this made me laugh:

Their squad is thin. An injury to one or two of James, Allan or Richarlison and their results will plummet. Contrast that to how we've already had to miss Alisson, Mane, Matip, Thiago, Henderson etc from games.

Villa was an aberration but it's the right game next to put things to how they should be.‘

Er does someone want to tell them?

Allan, Richarlison, Holgate, Coleman, Kenny. 4 of our starting 11 and our backup right back.

It is only up top we are a tad light, with Richarlison being first choice on the left and also cover for DCL.

Otherwise we have depth right across the squad.
