I'm relatively happy and upbeat about the team after this performance. They gave up an early goal and responded well. Controlled the better part of the play until they equalized. Gave up a goal in the last 20 minutes, and the announcer was pretty much like that's game. They came back and fought well again. Love having Doucoure and Allan out there.

You want a win of course and the red sucks, but you see guys flying all over and not folding. And I am ready to say I was wrong on DCL, he is incredibly impressive right now. Who would have thought in even June, Everton would be at the top of the league after the 1st Derby. A lot to look forward to in the future.

Shearer was talking like Pickford walked out to midfield and punch Van Dijk in the face before he took the spot kick. Not a 50-50 ball collision.
