I'm more convinced than ever that Naismith has a negative effect on our play, you need more than graft in the position he plays, it breaks down constantly with him and that's why we are not creating more chances.

That is 4 points from two games, I'd take 4 points from our next two league games with a win and a draw from the Europa Cup games. We are obviously in disarray but I'm happy to pick up points when playing badly. Martinez has been criticised for the over passing of the ball and not playing the opposition but sticking to a style of play that other teams have worked out and can nullify. Today he set up to play a form team, while it was dull it got a point. I want to see Everton playing with style and flair but I don't want Everton to be the most stylish team in the Championship. Take a point and move forward.
