The mina shuffle, I like it. Gomes is so much better round the opposition box than sitting deep.

I think most people know that, its been weird seeing him slated and described as a crap footballer when he’s been played as a holding midfielder. Thats never been his game.

Tough first half separated by a world class strike from a world class player.

I’ll have that. Largely dump but beating these and looking comfortable. A second goal around the 60 mark would let me unclench a bit.

Not sure if it’s Gomes being super dreadful, so he just looks better by comparison but another good (half a) game from Davies, here.

Tight game. Knew the midfield wouldn't be as strong compared to the away game but the back 4 have just about dealt with everything.

Games like this you need that touch of quality, James has more than just a touch.
