Justin has done really well and Ndidi I've always liked. Am I right in saying Walsh scouted him before he came to us? Said he wouldn't try and sign anyone he had scouted for you? We ended up with the crab Schneiderlin and you got Ndidi around the same time (January window)
Think you might be right on that. It baffles me the difference in job Walsh did for us and you. Although at the time I remember posting on here saying I was surprised you didn't appoint him as head scout

Justin has been the surprise for me this season. Started off shakily but he's really grown into a solid left back. It's gonna be harsh on him if he misses out when Ricardo fully returns

Mate everyone’s injuries (and suspensions) have been overshadowed by the RS. We didn’t have James for over a month, Allan has been out since the start of December, Digne was out for a month (all at the same time), DCL and Richarlison have been out. Every team has had bad ones but only one team actually gets any media ‘sympathy’. Funny that isn’t it? Carlo had to manage all of December with no full backs, his 2 most creative players gone and the midfield glue. But we hear about Saint Virgil every single game in commentary :p
When we played them the whole hour pre match coverage was on their injuries despite us having all of our regular back 4 us Ndidi missing. I see why you lot get so wound up

I'm 99.9% confident that Davies wouldn't get near Maddison to volley him enough times to take him out the game. His in game management and awareness of whats around him is dreadful unfortunately.

I hope I'm wrong though and if Tom does get picked he shows a disciplined and mature performance. He's certainly been given enough opportunities ths season and I feel only once has he put in a performance that was acceptable (Sheffield Utd away)
Hope so. Maddison is their key player. Nullify him and I reckon we win the game.

Pickford
Coleman - Mina - Keane - Godfrey
Davies - Gomes
Richarlison - James - Digne
DCL
The only worry with that side is the sloth that is Gomes, up against their quicker and more mobile players. Plus Iwobi is 100% nailed on to play and rightly so, as he adds energy to the side.

He's really kicked on this season, added goals to his game
I think the main reason we won the last one is that we didn’t let him or Vardy get in behind. The four centre halves stayed quite deep, the fullbacks would only go forward with the ball so they didn’t caught out. Expect the same on Wed, even without Vardy our focus will be on staying solid then relying on James feeding the front 2. The problem with that is it may give opportunities for Maddison and Tielemans to shoot from range and they are both very good at it and I ve no faith in Pickford. On the flip side though, I can see James, Richarlison and DCL all playing well given how sharp they looked on Sunday. It all adds up to 2 each I think

@FOXINPEACE what type of team do you see your lot as mate, someone somewhere in here from your side said your really a possession based team and not the counter attacking team most think you are, whatever way you do counter pretty good ;)
