The temptation to vote for DCL as MOTM was very strong, but I went for Kenny, the lad was excellent yesterday.

Morgan Schneiderlin replaced Tom Davies on 65 minutes, the manager obviously deciding Schneiderlin needed game time ahead of next Sunday’s derby that Davies will miss having picked up his fifth booking

Davies was suspended for the Soton game, yesterday was his sixth or seventh yellow mate.

...as an aside, I notice an old lady was killed in a hit and run under Queens Drive flyover yesterday. From reports it seems like it was not long after final whistle of the game. Bloke on a motorbike who hit her sped off into Walton against the flow of traffic. I suspect there was lots of folk leaving the ground in that vicinity.

Can't believe DCL got MOTM. He couldn't win a ball in the first half - either out-jumped by the defender or mis-timing his own jump.
