Everton were vastly superior - but failed to make it tell.

And it was another strange selection. A forward line of Mirallas, Rooney and Lookman, and Martina was putting in high crosses. We looked like a team without its centre forward.

Second half was disjointed and disappointing. Besic appeared, and played long enough to get booked.

Still, Pickford was there to save us again when it mattered.

First half was superb and the selection worked well.

Second half disjointed as Morgan went off and we had nobody to sweep up in front of the defence and start attacks like he can.

He came on at half-time to replace Schneiderlin mate.

Besic came on with 15 left.

In hindsight, it should have been Besic coming on for MS (if MS had to be taken off at half time), to at least put a similar player there.

Davies was poor last night. It's not really his game to sit in front of the back four, though.
