Keane, solid and got the opener. Pickford very good again and bailed us out when we went a bit limp towards the end.
Gana was great. Again, it was like having multiple Ganas all over the place.

Idrissa with Ademola a very close runner up. We never really looked like conceding a goal, although a third (or more) would have been nice to take away. An all round good performance, let's hope we can do similar in the league performances!

Lookman motm what are you looking at.

was our best threat the first half and was unlucky to not have scored (wasn't offside) in the second
never stopped trying to turn his marker, thread balls through and probs would have got a goal in the first but for a deflection

Solid performance, but we really should of put this to bed tonight one more goal would if done it. Let's hope they don't freeze in what will be a hostile atmosphere next week..

By the way their fans weren't interested in the football match they were more interested in their orchestrator (white t shirt man) who didn't look at the pitch once...

apparently they've only just got off a stadium ban for their fans in relation to the sort of thing we saw tonight

Ist half he was fine second just didn't get going at all,he has pace but looked at coming back inside, needs to do a lot more against opposition like that,I though Keane was motm myself.

Everton were vastly superior - but failed to make it tell.

And it was another strange selection. A forward line of Mirallas, Rooney and Lookman, and Martina was putting in high crosses. We looked like a team without its centre forward.

Second half was disjointed and disappointing. Besic appeared, and played long enough to get booked.

Still, Pickford was there to save us again when it mattered.

Keane, solid throughout and read game well. Mention to Schneiderlin who played some superb cross field passes first half.

Gana for an all action performance topped off with a goal. I'm sure if those knobhead away fans had tried any funny business he would have chased, tackled and rounded them up single handedly
