What was the actual attendance, 6k-7k I'd guess, big ques for tickets before kick off, there was still people coming into the Park End 30 minutes after kick off

Chuffed to bits for the Gor Mahia lads to have done that, though.

Shame they didn't get a goal but I'm sure training at FF and playing at Goodison has made it all worth while.

I spell standing in line as 'queueing'...which, to my knowledge, is the only word in English that possesses 5 consecutive vowels

Just scanning through twitter for the Kenyan reaction to last night and a lot of them seem annoyed. A bunch of them were annoyed at their own team as they were convinced that the side we fielded was 'beatable' and they were just 'afraid of the name'... whilst at the same time there were people annoyed with us as a club because we took the piss somehow/didn't treat them with enough 'respect' o_O

Christ sake lol

My personal favourite was someone moaning about the waste of taxpayers money to play the friendly, to which another fan laughed at him and asked did he go to school.

Pretty fair. Think I'd downgrade Holgate to a 5 and Tosun down to a 4. Tosun just didn't want to be there. I'd also drop another half a mark off Jags for looking so out of condition. If the opposition attack were any better he'd really have struggled. Holgate's distribution was dreadful.

Thought that
Gor Mahia looked pretty good in the first half. I would think the coach (who is an ex-english player) would do well in the lower tiers here. they looked compact and well organized. They should have scored in the second half and that guy will probably be shunned when he goes home. As for the Everton performance ..... hopefully that is the final bow for Jags and Schniederlin. Lookman looked great, Dowell flashed hot and invisible, Beni did well ina role he probably only got 10 mins before kick off. Holgates passing was woeful, Tosun and Schniederlin were totally uninterested. Davies got better as the game went on and as Silva moved him further forward. At one point him and Niasse were twin strikers it seemed. Y. Mina did nothing wrong and nothing spectacular.
