Stek
Kenny jagielka Williams baines
Baningime
Mccarthy Dowell
Onyekuru Vlasic
Sandro
This gives us another look at some of the loan players again, just in case we want to give Williams a new contract. Onyekuru and Virginia can get his first taste of playing at goodison and Vlasic and Sandro can show if they're any better. Whilst youngsters and players coming back from injury can get some game time.

Err what?

Are you sure about Onyekuru there mate?

Or is this a joke that’s backfired?

Wouldn't play a single first-team player in this, just let the Under-18s deal with it.

Sportpesa are a joke, it looks better on the kit than a lot of other sponsors we've had but remember how they took the P out of us after that thrashing against Arsenal? Us, their biggest client, being laughed at by our own shirt sponsor. No way we should be risking any players we're going to possibly use over the course of the season in this crappy little PR exercise.

17 time winners of Kenyan league, since founded in 1968! Population of Kenya 50 million.
This season:
Pos Club ...........P W D. L. F. A. GD Pts
1......Gor Mahia...34 23 6 5 71 31 40 75

What could possibly go wrong?

Shouldn't be taking place in the week before a tough away game. Farcical.

Would have made sense to have it in an international break but equally it'll just be used as a training game and actually it may work in the favour of several of our players who haven't been getting game time.

Mina, McCarthy, Baningime, Jagielka, Holgate, Niasse, Dowell, Schneiderlin - all of them need minutes. They don't - and all won't - play 90, but it's really no different to having a behind closed-doors friendly which we quite often do week in week out, with the players getting 45-60 minutes each (Moyes used to have them playing these games pretty much every other week apart from when we had a midweek game).

Not really arsed either way. Think Mina and McCarthy will be the main benefactors of having 45 mins (unless Mina plays on Saturday).

I'd give Kev a game too.

Apparently we have to play 6 first team players which is part of the contractual obligation. That leaves us with loads to choose from though like you said who need minutes and that would be Stek, Jags, Holgate, Baines, McCarthy, Morgan, Niasse for starters, possibly Mina depending on if he plays Saturday and maybe even the like of Kenny or DCL could get a few minutes or Baningeme and Dowell

Stek
Kenny, Holgate, Jags, Zouma, Baines
Morgan, McCarthy,
Dowell
Niasse, Hornby

Zouma can't play against Chelsea so may as well start him and that allows us to use Baines and Kenny as advanced wingbacks (rather than risk any of our first team wingers) and give Hornby a run out and see what he can do along side Niasse.
There is at least 8 possible first team players in there.
