Yeah but also suspect decision making and prone to falling asleep at times.

Then again, the alternative is literally nothing, so...
His tracking back as of last season seemed to improve a lot. He's bound to give the ball away a few times as he's trying a high number of progressive passes, but I don't mind that as he's far more likely to do something useful with it. The likes of Gomes and Davies probably give the ball away just as much trying to play "safe" passes whilst contributing none of Iwobi's strengths. Overall, as you say, significantly better than anything else we've got in there.

What a save that was.

Bloody hell that was a dire fist half that. Mcneil will have a great chance here to stake his claim for a starting spot against Chelsea if he dies well, Gordon has been poor once again and has done very little this pre season.

Soke great blocks by Tarkowski, Grays looked alright and that's about it

Gordon been poor tonight. Hope he can really step up again this year. Big weight on his shoulders.

Massively over rated by our fans.

Running around a lot in a relegation battle is one thing, taking games by the scruff of the neck to compete for top half is another.

Need another wide player.

Dire? We popped the ball around well and created a few chances. Thought we were decent. Kyiv are a champions league side and whilst they had chances they didn't batter us.

I'd like to see McNeil given at least half an hour here. Gray/Gordon not done enough with the ball in promising areas.
