Famous last words, but most unusual for me I'm going for a win today by at least a couple of goals.
This is one game that will have been seen as winnable, and the team will reflect that. With Zaha out, that is a huge loss for them and a bonus for us. If Benteke plays assuming he's not one of the injured, he'll be his usual annoying self, so our central defence needs to be able to match his physical presence.

Will be setting off for the match soon. Really can't be bothered - excitement used to get travelling to the match has all but gone. And to add insult to injury when seated, BFS is right in my eyeline, so end up just getting furious that he was ever allowed in our dugout.
If we don't win today against a Palace team with half their players out injured, I'm done.
I'll see you next season when we have a new manager & D of F in place.

But you know that detestable get we call our manager will be like the cat that got the cream if we take home the points as if it's some huge achievement.

He will, I have no doubt. But it is the measure of the man that he will blame everyone else for defeats but will take credit for success. Plus a home win over half a Crystal Palace team isn't something to crow about. Today's post match interview, no matter what the result, will be extremely telling.

Pickford

Seamus, Mangala, Keane, Martina

Gueye, Rooney, Davies

Siggy, Niasse. Walcott

Today’s team. Obviously Siggy and Walcott opposite sides.

This is one of our big three pointers left to gather. I'm going for a two nill nod. Niasse finds his goal scoring form. Not sure about the back three of four but with Morgan gone the sky is the limit. One of our passengers this season.

Hope the crowd don’t start turning too early today if things start slow.

After last week will be a lot of nervousness amongst the players.
