Tell you what was boss, just seeing pure love and appreciation between fans last night. I was a wreck after that 3rd waiting for the final whistle to go, had a couple of randomers hugging me to get me through. Seen this all around me as well.
We should never have been in that situation and I hope its a long long time before we ever do again, but that was one special night you can never take away from Everton fans.

Weird lot.

It would have kicked off.
All 5,800 odd of them?

It must kill them inside to only be in existence because of Everton and to be called 'Liverpool' and not be this or any other cities club.

Watching true blue scousers at the game at GP is what has fuelled their growing obsession and hatred of all things blue. It is sad to see and worse still is that those last few remaining legacy fans will dwindle to zero and given their ambition they'll soon be playing in some Disney league between LA and Tokyo.

You have never fooled me, I know how much you love this Club and I can only imagine how stressful this season and the past few games have been for you and for many others here. So this weekend is the time for much deserved relaxation time. The days ahead we can worry again about what next season will bring, but until then enjoy the glorious feeling of salvation. Xxx

100% Sassy, just the weight completely lifted off everyone's shoulders.

I couldn't bare the thought of going into Sundays game needing a result to stay up.

Relief lol

We all feel much lighter today lol just when I needed it as I need to look my best this weekend for a wedding.

So you are going to the game on Sunday? I am predicting a win for us against Arsenal, it just seem the appropriate way to end this season :D

First time at GP since Dec 2015.... boy was that worth the wait.

I've been to classics like the Good Friday massacre of Spurs in 04, Newcastle 2005, the AJ derby and the 4-1 vs Wolfsburg, but tonight kicks the holy shabite out of all of them put together.

Never seen or experienced anything like it. Now the rebuild must begin, and it starts at the top.
Glad you enjoyed it mate. Never have I regretted selling a match ticket more than this one!

I must be on the road to Houston during the match tomorrow. It will be one of the longest drives in recent memory given I'm not aware of any access to the match during the 200+ mile journey and my wife will not stand for me singing Everton songs into the ether for the entire journey.

UTFT!!!
My trip to Houston yesterday was to meet potential foreign investors in a NewCo. I decided not to try and watch or listen to the match until after all events were complete. But I couldn't stand not knowing so I peeked at my phone at halftime. Not good. Bad move. Probably screwed the deal.

After the meet and greet the investors let me know they wanted to view the traveling exhibit of official portraits of former President and Mrs. Obama. While they were listening to the Museum's presentation, I thought I would put myself out of the misery of not knowing the final result. WHAT??? My feet didn't touch the floor for the rest of the day and the evening events and I have no idea how I stifled an immediate scream of pure joy and the resultant escorting from the building. I shall endeavor to improve my fandom.

God, what an experience for you all. Absolutely made up for all Blues everywhere. YOU made this happen. Couldn't be more proud to be a Blue.

UTFT!!!

Enjoy your wedding and congratulations in advance to the happy couple :)

we'll get thrashed like the time we finished 4th and then lost 7-1 to arsenal as all the platers had been on the lash. Hope Norwich beat Spurs and Arsenal take 4th.

….lovely story, TX. I dare say last night will live in the memory of every Toffee as a ‘where was I at that moment’, whether we were at the game or not.

nice timing mate. I bet you were kicking yourself at half time haha

Not sure if they are regulars, but there was a ginger kid about 8 years old three-ish seats to my right, with an ev scarf around his head. He was IMMENSE!

Every Palace touch (and I mean EVERY one) was booed at max volume by that lad, and the way he screamed at Ayew after his X rated tackle on Gordon. I'd be one proud dad if he was mine :D That's the bar for younguns. Doesn't matter that 99% of kids in Liverpool seem to support the red horde. With voices like ginger's, the 1% mean everything.

As I've said, nearly 7 years since last going, and that was worth the wait..... take the AJ derby, the Wolfsburg smashing, the 4th place game against Newcastle. Put them all together, times them by ten - and you are NOWHERE. BLOODY. NEAR. Last ngiht's atmos.

Hahaha that’s a very short break. I probably we super hangover but I’ll be watching too.

Thanks, an old friend is marrying a 23 year old so hopefully they will remain a happy couple and the 23 year age difference doesn’t create issues.
