That was a fantastic half of football. We aren't Barcelona (of old). It was passion, commitment and organisation at its finest.
25% possession and 1 shot on target is hardly what I'd call fantastic. The second bit is great, but it wont count for much if we don't start winning games.

When you match a teams system you're looking for a tight game. There aren't going to be loads of shots because everyone is taking up positions near another player.

If we played with this intensity against the teams outside the top 6 we’d be absolutely fine btw. That’s what hurts the most.
If (LOL) Mina had played 30 games this season we wouldnt be in the last 8. In the premier league you need 2 top class center halves, a good keeper , 2 quality midfielders and a good striker. Everton have 1 good defender (Mina but always injured), a crap keeper, not a single good midfielder. One good striker with a tendency to miss open goals!

We need to get running at Azpi and Rudiger

2 / 3 centre backs on a yellow...need to take advantage

Id look at Delph off for Allan or maybe Dele to look more attack minded

I could care less, I like Coleman. No player is perfect on the field, but Coleman is a player that one can see loves this club profoundly.
Unlike our long list of sicknotes Seamus fought back from a vicious challenge against Wales which was a double leg break.

He is now our captain as well as Ireland's captain. Others are constantly injured for what to me are innocuous reasons. When he plays well the haters disappear. If he makes a mistake they come out in force. Delighted to see you can appreciate what he brings to this Club

Glad to see you

Nice of Coleman to turn up as a captain, about 3 years too late though.

This game as got a derby repeat written all over it. I’d take Gray off for DCL or Rondon and Delph off for Allan.

Need to show a little more composure on the ball in their half, just seems like all the attacking players are trying to it by themselves instead of laying off the easily ball. It’s defo there for the taking

Come on!!!

This isnt true

A point isn't the worst result at all but a win would be huge. We don't want to be miles behind when we get to the easier games.

My problem is we have not one technical player after selling james and digne in our team so set pieces become worthless and we have no creativity in our team, we have 3 dribblers upfront which don't compliment eachother to well and don't have the vison to look up and pick a pass. Really we should try dele alli as he is a technical player and replace one of the front 3 and drop in behind them and feed the balls and take set pieces.

45 minutes to save our top flight status. Just doesn't look like we have goals in us despite an alright half.
Yup. Not a single one of them looks like you'd back them to put the ball in the net if we played for three hours. Looking for Richy/Alli/Salamander to prove me wrong.
