closer to top 6 now [6 points behind],than same stage as last season, before afternoon kos,and even a burnley win would leave the gap to 6th at 9 points which is same after 19 games last season,we have only 1 point less now to last season, overall and at same stage quite even, considering we have done not good so much of the seasonOne point closer to safety.
Defence looks solid - let's see what happens in the Jan window.
Lets see how long you're impressed with no shots on target and parking the bus at home for... previous managers would have been slated for that by a lot of posters.
TBH he looks better than Baines!I think I'd vote him MOTM
he won't be going anywhere
Compared to a few weeks ago, that’s a great point.
I saw him hold the ball up much more than he has recently, long hopeful punts from the back and he was holding them. Surely you aren't expecting a kid who made his debut 12 months ago to singlehandedly smash the champions' backline? He held the ball up and gave the defence a little respite. Was it perfect, no of course not but for the first 80 minutes he allowed the defence to have a breather. Compare him to Sandro who didnt offer that. Here’s where you and me fall out mate cos I thought Lewin put us under more pressure than Hazard!
discontent? we shipped 6 against these last yearFans will show discontent and he will be sacked
Put it this way nearly any team in the league is happy to get a home draw against Chelsea, so this is a great point.Given what we have in attack, people wanting us to have a go need to wise up. A hard earned point from a defense who leaked goals before. Going toe to toe would have been a disaster. 0-0 is better than 6-1, with Everton scoring the loan goal in stoppage time.
Schneiderlin did well today, sometimes as good as he is I think Gueye playing seems to make his midfield partner not play very well. Remember when Gueye was at the ACON last year that's when Davies came in and did a great job with Schneiderlin in there too. I'm not saying for one moment Gueye shouldn't be playing but it's a little problem I've noticed.
