As @Tubey said earlier, we played with a real pressing tempo from the start and it worked, exactly how a team with our type of game should play when we havnt got the ball, makes everything else work so much better making the opposition make decisions faster, the one time we slacked on it we conceded, shows the way for the rest of the season we need to play

it was more tongue in cheek, but it still rings a bit true.

Besic was playing on the wing, and he's even less of a winger than Naismith, but how can you say he didn't come on and play on the wing.. when he did.

You're just playing with semantics. You know the sense of "winger" everyone was crying for does not include Naisy and he doesn't play in the same way as the others do. Also to say Besic was playing on the wing just isn't true.

Hats off to Martinez, shocked a little by the original team selection but what a performance. Naismith silenced a few doubters (me included) with his treble and what can you say about John stones. I was a little worried about how he would react as the spotlight was going to be firmly on him, back what can I say the lad was immense.

I wasn't even griping about Naismith coming on, I was griping that it would push a central player wide regardless of who it was and not really support the fullback as well. FINALLY Barry and McCarthy played and covered like they did two seasons ago, so well in there.

When naismith came on we where playing with 2 inside fowards. With him a kone cutting in to shoot/create chances.

That was some result though, even if Chelski seem to be a set of players rather than a team, thought Stones, Barry and Barclay played really well, and Naismith for all his detractors was immense. He may not have the step-overs that some have, but he certainly has commitment and deserves to be in the squad, but probably not first choice every week
