I feel like we are in control here. Burnley just remind of a Martinez team. A lot of keeping the ball but losing the game. It's a playing style where you simply need to have the better players on the pitch for it to work.

We could be up against Port Vale in the quarters with a win here, makes sense to go for it tonight.
I’m thinking he doesn’t trust us to compete in the Brighton game so he is prioritizing this one. If City got knocked out of this tourney as well (I think they did?!) we have a realistic shot at winning it. Watched the first half though and I have to say a few of the players looked tired. Again- as long as we win.

A couple of spells where we've managed to string more than 4 passes together but fcuk me, we are depressing to watch sometimes.

Sitting deep, letting Burnley have about 60% of the ball, DCL isolated, Danjuma, Mcneil and Harrison anonymous again.

Let's hope for a better 2nd half.
But if you’re sitting back you have to run 50yrs to get up the pitch. Against attacking sides it can against a poor team like Burnley who won’t commit loads forward and press is in, it makes it a lot harder. We need to be on the front foot, press them get the full backs involved
