A few good performances today Gana, Gomes, Digne etc but MOTM has to be Richarlison for me. Was up and at them for the whole match and even when he went over funny on his ankle all he wanted to do was carry on and went on to score 2 great goals. The lad has got everything. Great result today blues and we are miles away from the dross that was being served up this time last year. We look pretty good in the table now too, only a couple of points from 5th. The future looks quite sexy the way we are going. :)

Some good performances, but for me the two finishes by Richy were just class. While that first move was good, that was a difficult angle to score from and he made it look easy. The 2nd goal was a bad pass but again, he made that look easy and clinched the game.

As with everyone I loved the performances of Richarlison, Gana and Gomes...however, for me the one player who has been top notch for every game since he arrived is Digne...looks a total class act this lad...first time we've seen both fullbacks bombing forward for a long, long time...loved it

i agree. gave it to richarlison but digne has been a beast

COLEMAN

"We were a little bit disappointed after the United game and it was important to put it right. I thought we controlled most of the game.
On Richarlison
"He's a top player. He works so hard for the team and he's got the ability to score goals
"The lads we've signed are really good people and have fitted into the dressing room really well
On celebration
"I was out for a year. That makes it [no goal since Jan 2017] sound a bit longer. I was a little bit disappointed with my last performance. Every time I score a goal I go a little bit mad.
"It was a frustrating time to be out and this season I've had a few niggles. The fitter I get the more chances I'm sure I'll get."

SILVA

I'm really satisfied. I'm sure it was our best performance at home this season. We did well, we deserved the three points.

We scored three goals and could have had more. Our players performed really well from the first minute. We started well and created chances, the first 30 minutes was really good.

The only thing I didn't like was corner [for Brighton's goal]. When we planned and worked on those moments through the week, we knew they are strong in those situations. We have to do better. It's something we have to keep working on.

We had constant control. Jordan [Pickford] only had to make a save at the end of the match. As a team we performed really well, I enjoyed what I saw.

The first goal was a very good moment, very good play.

[ON RICHARLISON]

He's strong, his capacity, with Gylfi [Sigurdsson] to press high, is the behaviour I want on the pitch, and he had the quality to finish the moment.

Unpopular to say it, but Keane had a super game, as did everyone. I gave it to Keane because he has had so much stick. Won just about every header and played some delightful passes out of defence,

Gomes is simply fantastic, Gueye looks great alongside him.

Richarlison is proper talent, as is Zouma and Digne.

Agree, whatever happens it’s just nice to see us have a good pop at whoever we’re playing. We’ve got decent players ATM and more often than not, playing this way will get us results.

Really good signs things are starting to knit together for us, we've got a group of technically superb players, some great football we played when they all were on the same wavelength, the defence looking more solid too these days, my MOTM Gueye, back to his very best today and allowed our flair players to flourish.
