I thought we were great today barring 10mins after the equaliser. Poor from Zouma for the away goal.

Plenty of fight, guile, creativity and most importantly composure

Good match on the most part. One concern for me is that Theo really needs to start coming to the party.
Lad is playing well within himself.

I was listening to the commentary as much as I was watching the game and all I was hearing was Digne this, Digne that.
I wonder if we realise what a good player he is.
A defender who can play football. Great signing for us.

Gomes looked the complete midfielder, COULD turn out to be arguably the best we've had since Arteta.

If only we could do zonal defending.

Well played lads.

We don’t need to do zonal defending, we just need to do effective defending......

Ric or Gana, can't decide.

Sig had the right man on the end of that sweet, delicate juicy pass.
2 beautiful sexy goals from Rico.
Questions asked were different and he handled them both with aplomb.

Gana was in total control today. Probably his best performance.
The game suited him but what more could you ask.
His movement in defence was outstanding as was the execution.
His passing and touch was good and he played the options well.
His only sketchy pass led to a goal.
I think Gomes is making him a better player.
Always seen him as limited in a role that requires more, but if he keeps going like this, with Gomes by his side, I'll have to change my mind.

Best this season, and best for a while
but it has to be said that BHA were awful
There 2 CBs were literally there only threat.
There was load of space to move around in. They looked hapless in midfield defence.
Take Propper and Goss out and that's what your left with.

What's not in question is how we can now put this type of dross to the sword.
The right posed more of a threat in general play. The way Gomes and Sig chimed into the play.
And it was great to see us play in more space on the left and to get that all important first goal.
More important was by the time they equalised the lads knew they had em anyway - coming out the second half with belief and confidence.
Really enjoyable game that.

Richarlisons family celebrating his goal in one of the boxes

Excellent team performance today, we were so dominant In the second half they barely had the ball.

Thought richarlison was really good centre forward, goals aside he was a handful and his linkup play was decent. Finishing for the first goal reminded me of lukaku, second goal was just pure sex on toast.

Been a while since we put in such a lengthy performance...almost the full 90...a but of a lull for the final 15 of the first half...but great job!

Side note: that ref was poor at the drawing the wall lines...took him 2 goes.

Great win, great 2nd half..I think today's game was the first game of "new Everton" era
Great goals from Rico.
Gana Gomes Siggy Digne were brilliant
Happy for Seamus

Welldone lads.Enjoyed a lot while watching

Went for Gana. He was everywhere winning the ball and stopping almost everything Brighton had. Richarlison was clinical up front and did his job well but felt gana edged it. I cannot really say anyone had a bad game.

Was expecting Richarlison to mess his 2nd goal up but he took it so well. Something I am not that used to.
