Didn't think that was too bad a half. More movement and better passing from our midfield than in recent games. Keane doing well, plus Branthwaite looks comfortable enough and not out of place. We just need to step it up a little in the second half; personally I feel the inclusion of Gordon and Moise Kean would help exploit Villa and win us the game.

That's no excuse mate. There's no justifying the lack of effort from the side here. Villa are basically down if they lose today because they have lost a lot of games, and they've lost a lot of games because they're crap and easy to beat, yet they could very easily do the double over us if the cowards stealing a living from this club don't find some self-respect in the second half.

Richy is working hard but it's no use when anyone directly connected to his position isn't up to the same standard. Our wingers couldn't find a pass to save their contacts

Davis is totally gutless, the only play he's got is back pass, beside falling over. Midfield is so layback it almost dissolves into the back line and our back four seemed to take over their midfield roles at times. Something definitely needs rewiring.
