We nned to up our game if we are to get anything. Certainly defensively we are currently in a mess. Build the defence first. A clean sheet will bring back a bit of confidence. But their pace does concern me

Not a good feeling about this. Their pace could rip us apart and Dunne will probably score the winner.

Nah, Dunne's goals this season have been completely unprecedented. He went up for thousands of corner when he was at City and barely found the onion bag in his career. Carew has been really poor this season too, so providing at set pieces we all gang up on James Collins, we might have a chance (y). 22-2 for the 0-0, I'm plumping for that.

Looking like Yobo and Baines back for this one - late Saha fitness test (dont think he will be risked to be honest).

If Baines and Yobo are back that would be great news, especially Baines we needed his pacy to help with the attack and defence.

Where did you pick up on this news?

If this is true then I think we still have a chance of getting a result against Villa!

Everton v Villa, the most played fixture in the top flight.

Villa are ahead by one game and one goal therefore i'm going for a 1-0 win for the Toffees (Cahill).

Can we please, please, please just get one midfielder back before the Villa game, even Leon Osman will do. Just someone who can fill in and let Tim move back to his natural position. I really don't want to see him playing on the left again.

Be interesting to see what Moyes does with Baines and Yobo returning - I really hope he doesn't try to fit Neill, Heitinga and Yobo into the same team. Play one of them right back and drop one, he's got to make that decision. He's got to choose a right back and stick to it.

Ghost has just said the squads been announced without Baines and Yobo, it alludes to that on the OS where it says "Everton from".

Were playing mind games with them.

Don't care what anyone says, this is the start of us being boss again.

I've put 40 dollars on Everton to win, I'm not sure why but I have a feeling that we are going to come out all guns blazing for this encounter.

When your back is against the wall, characters are made and class shines through. I'm expecting a Tim Cahill miracle strike to fire the lads up for a win.

3 - 1

(2 x Cahill, Yakubu)
