Yes, I do believe that Mason would be a better option than either André or Tom (mind you I'm not a world-class manager, so what do I know?), but I feel (just an opinion) Carlo will opt to play one of the latter in Allans' position instead; due to them being more experienced midfielders. The reason I say this is because it's difficult to second guess Carlo Ancelotti when it comes to his team selection and tactics, and he doesn't always go for what may appear to be an obvious choice.
