A bit of a stuttering performance but a performance anyway! Richie MoM for me, deserved a hat-trick but took his one allowed goal brilliantly. Plus he fought hard for the full 90 minutes with none of his usual peed off looks. Gray was also MoM worthy for his overall performance and that winning goal, but |Richie just pipped him. Good cameo from Gomes. Keane had a good steady game and was the best defender. Holgate gave me a near heart attack every time he got the ball, why does he think he has the skill to beat a man? Just pass it to a team-mate! Anthony Gordon played well, isn't afraid to go man to man with the opposition. We need 2 new full backs. I'm made up with the win, don't make it a one off performance Blues.

One thing a showing like that should put to bed for a long long time is that the players don't have the attitude, determination, confidence, yada yada yada. A goal down, two goals chalked off, Arsenal literally taking a timeout to reset, wasting time and none of it mattered. They all kept going and won it. They might not all be good enough but the character really is there.

Sorry bud, but that's demonstrably a stupid conclusion to reach.

What they proved this evening is that they are capable of displaying grit, determination, a will to win. However they have also proved in other weeks that they are perfectly happy to coast and get hammered by all kinds of opposition.

Still a long way off from a team full of people you can rely on week in and week out.
