We will play a midfield 2 and get overrun. We will not compete at set pieces against one of the least physical sides in the league. He will probably put Tosun up top and we will probably have about 32% possession.

For me I would play a 3 with Allan playing behind Delph and Doucs

Allan can't play that role though, at all, and you're taking away from what he's good at.

It's also playing Delph in a more advanced role which he's absolutely hopeless at.

Allan isn't a holding player and Delph isn't box to box. Unfortunately our manager keeps playing them in a 3 as you suggest in that set up and it won't work.

Our best defensive performance came when Delph played deep and Allan was allowed to push on v Spurs. No surprise it's also the best Allan has looked in a while.

He won't play Simms or Dobbin. Tbf if Rondon plays like he did the other day in the sense that he is just a focal point for other players to work off I have no issue with him starting in a 4-3-3.

Townsend needs a rest. He's average anyway but now he's run into the ground he looks crap. So get him benched for a bit as an option to come on. Have Gray and Richarlison playing off Rondon (if he's fit) and a solid three in midfield.

I'd like him to give Simms a go if Rondon isn't fit but there's no chance.

Hopefully Mina back plus 3 in the middle of Allan, Doucs & Delph. No Rondon please despite his slight improvement last game. If he doesn't go with 3 then i just don't see what he sees & what he's trying to achieve.
