It's better than saying he thought we should have won which we all know would have been a lie.

Sometimes I think people read too much into what these guys say.
It would have been better if he said it was 2 points dropped coz were not good enough.

and no I don't tend to read too much into things but its just another comment from a member of our club showing the mentality that has us where we are

It wasn't directed solely at you. We all do it.

A great read. Thought Evans came into it a bit more in the second half when he drifted inside into the space and played some lovely quick balls through the middle. All in all Beni is a must for the first team now, as you say. Thought Broadhead looked quite good the first half and is a real prospect.

After watching the U23s last night, it gave me more hope that with the right managerial team in place a lot of these youngster can progress to the first team. That said it will be interesting to watch them play against a stronger team and see what impact they have.
Agree. Getting the right manager in who can make the best use of this depth of quality coming through is paramount to our future. We can't compete with the big boys financially so this is the only viable way we can challenge them realistically.

When you think about it we do have some depth of serious quality youth at the club at the moment.
Pickford, Kenny, Holgate, Feeney, Gibson, Connolly, Baningime, Davies, Williams, Evans, Dowell, Vlasic, Lookman, Hornby, Broadhead, Gordon, DCL, Sandro. There's practically a first team squad right there in 3/4 years time. Average age would be around 23/24.

I've also heard one of our younger age groups is breaking all kind of records, so hopefully the conveyor belt continues.

Wonder if it's the group these kids signed for?
