The wealth destruction that EFC transfers represent over the last few years surely have
been unmatched in gross figures by any other club in the history of English football?

Other than Lukaku, there has not been one outstanding purchase. LFC signed loads of cobblers too over the last twenty years but they got a Suarez, or a Coutinho, or a Torres or a Firmino from time to time and recently they hit the jackpot with Salah. EFC bought loadsa tickets in the lottery but not one has won.

You would think that fat Sam would have known his onions but what does he do? Buys one of the biggest frauds in the game: walcott. Then Utd unloaded, as usual, one of their big earning underachievers: Morgan. Ditto City.

Not one single athlete, midfield boss player or pacy, attacker other than Richarlison who is good but not great.Like they say in the US: nobody knows nothing.

Richarlison > Firminho

DCL will prove to be a ridiculously good buy in the years to come.

They arent paying for Kenny though.

Its a swap deal where the players have to have a value shown on the books.

It wont say, Kenny (free) McKennie (£10mil).

Theres going to be a valuation for the books. Also, its hardly elaborate or fiendish when its literally just been done last week by another teams at a far higher level of outrageousness.
You are of course correct , but that in turn creates future potential FFP problems if we want to offload McKennie during his contract.

Having inflated his value any sale will almost certainly be for significantly less than his book value.

Kenny isn’t worth anything approaching 15 million mate. I’d say his market value is about a third of that, max.
Its was more a case of us trying to Clever in the market regarding FFP
Mckennie isn’t worth 25. But wouid look better on the books at them figures

Edit
Just read the tread and seen that this has been discussed

Obviously there's possible disciplinary issues. However, if he wants out I'd see if we can get guendouzi on the cheap or even better a loan.

The lad defo can put a tackle in and get around the pitch.

Might be a gamble worth considering if we're short on funds.

...John Stones wasn’t too shabby by way of return on outlay, nor was Gueye.

If we got him and another I think that would be decent. Get him cheap and can get up and down. Awaits "Arsenal cast off"

Seen some positive comments on Dominik Szoboszlai in this thread, 19 years old, finished the season with 12 goals and 18 assists for Red Bull Salzburg.
