I don't think Davies is that slow, he just isn't fast enough to make up for the fact that he tends to be three steps out of position at all times.

His speed is a weird one. I’d agree that in theory he doesn’t actually appear to be that slow, but sometimes you think he’s a massive favourite to get to a loose ball and he doesnt. It can look like he’s moving through treacle at times. Not sure if it’s a reactions things or what.
