Palace defence is sound like.

They were one of the best at one point last season and apparantly didn't cost a penny.

Hodgson always has them fairly solid, I'd say they need a striker more than another winger mind.

Yeah he'll be a good signing for anyone, just thought it strange as they bought Eze, have Zaha and Townsend already but fair play to Roy, finally getting some exciting players to go with Zaha.

Bournemouth won’t be happy either.

Obviously either club or player have priced themselves out of a move. Not sure his agent will be happy either.

Would imagine he and his agent will be perfectly happy. His contract is up in 9 months and he can sign a pre-contract in 2 1/2. Probably much more more money available for them if he goes on a free. It's Bournemouth who'll lose out here, they seem determined to conduct business extraordinarily badly and screw themselves over.
