Is he any good? just asking because he's been in the prem for 8 years playing for Southampton and Spurs, yet only played 43 games in those 8 seasons.

He's normally been a back up goalkeeper. He's someone that Poch really trusts and that's why he has signed him for Southampton and Spurs.

He would not be a glamorous signing by any means but has always looked solid to me. Spurs fans I'm friends with like him, and would rather they kept him as their number 2 over Joe Hart.

Much like Romero, I think he'd be a huge improvement over Pickford in his current form and probably available without much outlay.

So to answer your question, he's alright.

If we can get a decent back up keeper to push pickford then i will be pleased. Brands is probably concentrating on shifts players out. We will cope with this squad till January and may strengthen then.

8 years in the premiership and I've never heard of him...am not getting Hames excitement over this one
