...Peresic continues to be linked but I can’t see us acquiring another wide player who plays from the left.

Buy Koulibaly (or similar), and a strong quick right back and i genuinely think we will be pushing for top four...realistically only our defence needs urgent reinforcements. Pickford wasn't to blame today, both goals came from errors by Mina who just isn't the imposing CB we need to compliment Holgate or Keane.
I do however think long term we need some-one better than Pickford, he just isn't good enough for where we want to be

The embarrassment of maybe not making our 25 man squad could be what makes a few decide to leave. I can see a lot of outs in the last 7 days.

We need a quality RB more than a CB. Yes he is injured but Holgate in an outstanding CB with years ahead of him. So long term view I would rather wait for him to come back and go for Emerson for RB. Next season we can move for a partner for Holgate... look if a great future CB comes available that is better than Keane and Mina right now and at the right price fine..
